MEET PAMELA
Pamela Michos brings nearly a decade of experience in banking, financial services, and wealth management, along with nearly 14 years of executive leadership experience with publicly traded companies. As a former small business owner, she also has firsthand experience with the challenges facing entrepreneurs and local businesses.
Throughout her career, Pamela has led teams, managed complex operations, developed business strategies, and worked in highly regulated environments requiring accountability, sound judgment, and strong financial management. Her experience in banking and wealth management has given her a strong understanding of the economic pressures facing individuals, families, and businesses across New York.
Pamela graduated from New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, where she studied Nutrition and Food Studies with a concentration in Clinical Dietetics. She also earned an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College, graduating magna cum laude. Her background in dietetics and healthcare education includes developing health literacy programs serving underserved communities in the Bronx, and she was recognized by NYC Health + Hospitals for her service.
Her commitment to community service continues through her role as PTA President of the largest Hellenic school community in the country. As a working mother raising her son in the district, Pamela understands firsthand the challenges families face with education, childcare, housing, public safety, and the rising cost of living. Her background in executive leadership, banking, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and community service gives her a unique perspective on the issues facing New York families and businesses.
